Welcome to Active Pelvic Health – I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Zainab (but you can call me Zain), a physiotherapist with a deep passion for pelvic health, movement, and helping people reconnect with their bodies at every life stage. With over ten years of clinical experience across Australia and India, I’ve supported everyone from new mums to high-performing athletes—helping them overcome challenges, build confidence, and return to doing what they love.

Pelvic health became my calling because it’s so often misunderstood or overlooked—and yet, it’s such a vital part of our everyday function, identity, and quality of life. Whether you’re navigating pregnancy or postpartum, managing incontinence, prolapse, or pelvic pain, or simply want to feel stronger from the inside out—I’m here to guide you with care, clarity, and a whole lot of clinical know-how.

I’m currently completing my Master of Pelvic Health at the University of Melbourne, on the Academic Pathway for Titling to become a Titled Women’s, Men’s & Pelvic Health Physiotherapist—a title that reflects advanced training in managing complex pelvic conditions. My approach is holistic and evidence-based: I combine hands-on therapy, dry needling, tailored movement rehab and conditioning, and education to empower you with strategies that last well beyond the treatment room.

I also hold a Bachelors and Masters of Physiotherapy (Sports)—both awarded with Gold Medals for academic excellence—and a range of additional qualifications that support my work, including:

  • Certified Performance Specialist (C:PS)
  • GLA:D Program for Osteoarthritis
  • Dry Needling Certification Level 1-2
  • Level 1 Lymphatic Practitioner
  • Functional Movement Screening (FMS) & Specific Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA)
  • Certified Yoga Instructor (Yoga Alliance USA)

With my background in sports physiotherapy and performance, I love working with active individuals—runners, gym lovers, dancers, and athletes—who want to stay strong while addressing pelvic health concerns. I believe movement is medicine, and it’s often the missing link in pelvic floor rehab.

Above all, I’m here to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive space where you feel heard and understood—no matter your stage of life or level of fitness. My goal is to help you move with confidence, reconnect with your core, and feel at home in your body again.

Our Signature Approach: SURVIVE, PERFORM, THRIVE FRAMEWORK

We have developed a simple yet powerful system to guide you through your pelvic health journey:

SURVIVE

First, we address the immediate challenges and symptoms that you’re experiencing, whether it’s pelvic pain, incontinence, or recovery after surgery. Our goal is to stabilize, reduce discomfort, and ensure you can function day-to-day with more ease.

SURVIVE

PERFORM

Once we’ve addressed the foundational issues, we work together to enhance your strength and mobility. This phase is about building resilience and confidence, helping you return to the activities you love—whether it’s exercise, sports, or daily routines—while ensuring your pelvic health is fully supported.

PERFORM

THRIVE

The final phase is about achieving long-term success and living at your highest potential. We’ll work to optimize your pelvic health and overall well-being so that you can enjoy life to its fullest—whether that’s excelling in your athletic pursuits, embracing motherhood, or navigating the changes that come with aging.

THRIVE

You’re not just a patient. You’re a powerhouse. And we’re here to help you feel like one again.
